WMG Empowering Futures

Our Vision

At WMG Empowering Futures, we believe that securing our future begins with empowering our youth today. We are committed to fostering growth, resilience, and leadership through strategic investments in youth sports programs, educational opportunities, and active business engagement within our communities. By supporting extracurricular activities that enrich self-esteem, instill time management skills, and encourage teamwork, we aim to create a strong foundation for the next generation to thrive. We recognize the vital role of business in shaping vibrant communities, and through our commitment to youth development, we strive to inspire future leaders, innovators, and changemakers who will drive positive growth for generations to come.

Our Mission

WMG Empowering Futures is dedicated to empowering youth by investing in sports and educational programs that build essential life skills and leadership qualities. Research highlights the impact of athletics on professional success, particularly among women in leadership roles. A 2015 study by EY and espnW found that 80% of female Fortune 500 executives and 94% of women in C-suite roles participated in competitive sports, often at the collegiate level. Through these experiences, they developed critical skills in time management, discipline, resilience, and teamwork—qualities vital for long-term professional achievement. Further, boys who engage in sports often demonstrate improved academic performance, emotional regulation, and social interaction skills, according to research from the Journal of School Health. These skills translate into higher self-esteem and a greater likelihood of pursuing leadership roles later in life. This connection between athletic involvement and leadership success guides our focus on creating environments where all youth, regardless of gender, can thrive and grow into future leaders.

By partnering with schools, communities, and organizations, WMG Empowering Futures provides resources, mentorship, and support to prepare today’s youth for impactful careers and active roles within their communities. Our commitment to fostering teamwork, self-confidence, and a goal-oriented mindset underscores our mission to support youth sports and educational programs.
